- 1 pound (450g) green beans
- cooking spray
- salt to taste
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
Add the green beans to a bowl and spray with some low-calorie spray and the best salt ever and combine.
Place the beans into the air fryer basket and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning a couple of times during cooking so that they brown evenly.
Remove and serve topped with some extra salt and chopped herbs if you like.
- Finer green beans as I use here need 6-8 minutes.
- If you are using larger beans then you may need 8-10 minutes.
- If you have a small air fryer, then cook beans in 2 batches.
- Make sure you top and tail your beans before air frying them.
- Make sure the beans are dry before spraying with cooking spray.
- If you don't have a cooking spray you can use olive oil but this will increase the calorie count of the portion.
- Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 4 days.
