Air Fryer Salmon Patties
These Salmon Patties are quick, easy, healthy and loaded with great flavour!
- 14 ounces (400g) fresh or canned salmon
- 3 tbsp cilantro (coriander), chopped
- 3 green onions (spring onions), finely mined
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 egg
Preheat air fryer to 360°F/ 180°C.
Mince your fresh salmon or open salmon tins, drain and remove bones (you can leave in if you prefer; I actually like the bones). If using fresh salmon, remove bones and mince by hand.
Add all ingredients to a bowl and combine.
Form 6 patties, making sure they are the same size.
Add patties to the air fryer basket and lightly spray with no-calorie cooking spray.
Cook for 6-8 mins, turning the patties over halfway through the cook time.
Weight Watchers Points
There are 0 (zero!) Blue Plan SmartPoints in a serving of these Air Fryer Salmon Patties.
Make sure to form salmon patties that are the same size so they will cook evenly and at the same rate.
You can even swap the salmon for other types of fish. Use canned tuna, or other finely chopped white fish such as haddock or cod. If using fresh fish instead of canned, you’ll want to cook the patties for a little longer.
- If you are not following a low-carb or gluten-free eating plan, you can add 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs to the mixture. This will bulk up the salmon patties a bit more.
Feel free to change up the flavours to suit your taste. Use chopped dill instead of cilantro, or swap the smoked paprika for curry powder.
