Instant Pot Cabbage

Instant Pot Cabbage Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (236 ml) chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 large head of cabbage roughly chopped (to 1-inch sections minimum)
  • 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste


Instant Pot Instructions:

  • Pour the stock into the Instant Pot insert.
  • Add the butter for the Instant Pot Cabbage into the insert with the stock.
  • Next, add the cabbage into the insert and make sure that it is below the Instant Pot fill line.
  • Sprinkle nutmeg over the buttered cabbage. Don’t just dump it in, as you don’t want it to clump.
  • Cover and turn the valve to the sealing position. Select the manual pressure button and set to high pressure for 5 mins.
  • When the Instant Pot Cabbage is done, perform a Quick Pressure Release and season your buttered cabbage with salt and pepper.
  • Gently stir until it is all mixed together well. Serve warm and enjoy.
