Ingredients

  • 1 lbs (450g carrots about 4 large carrots cut into sticks, or start with store bought pre-cut carrots
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • salt to taste

Instructions

Air Fryer Carrot Fries Instructions

  • Mix together the ingredients in a bowl and then set aside.
  • Preheat Air Fryer to 400F / 200C.
  • Add the carrots to the air fryer basket making sure they are in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning over halfway through.
  • Serve the Air Fryer Carrot Fries either warm or at room temperature.

Oven Baked Carrot Fries Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients and then set aside.
  • Preheat to 400F / Fan assisted 180C / 200C / gas 6.
  • Place the carrots in a single layer on a baking tray.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, turning half way through or till done.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Air Fryer Carrot Fries Tips

  • Do not let the air fried carrot sticks touch each other in the air fryer. Cook in batches to allow plenty of room so you have perfectly cooked fries.
  • For lighter in calories carrot fries, ignore the maple syrup and just season with the olive oil and salt.
