Ingredients

  • 4 medium size potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or other oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium heat (about 375 degrees F or 190 degrees C).
  • Wash and dry the potatoes and pierce them all over with a fork.
  • Rub oil over the potatoes and sprinkle salt all over them.
  • Wrap potatoes individually in aluminum foil in two layers making sure there are no exposed spots.
  • Poke holes in the wrapped spuds again.
  • Place on the hot grill and grill for about 45 minutes or until easily pierced with a paring knife or skewer.
  • Let them rest for a few minutes, then unwrap the foil and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure to preheat grill before cooking your taties, for the best results.
  • Try to grill equally sized russet potatoes, so that they cook at the same rate.
  • Turn them over once during cooking so they cook evenly.
  • Make sure to keep the grill lid closed as much as you can during cooking so that the temperature stays as even as possible (like you would for an oven).
  • Make sure each entire potato is well oiled and seasoned.
  • If your spuds are undercooked then grill for a bit longer.
  • Done potatoes are super hot, so please use tongs to carefully transfer them to a plate before serving.
  • Storage - keep in an airtight container inside the fridge for 5 days.
  • There are 6 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
