Air Fryer Burritos

Easy and crispy burritos at home.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Flour tortillas
  • 1 cup (199g) Mexican rice
  • 1 cup (164g) Corn
  • 1 cup (200g)Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup (120g) Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup (180g) Beans
  • 1 cup (250g) Salsa

Instructions

  • Lay a tortilla down on a flat surface.
  • Layer toppings into the center of the tortilla.
  • Roll the burrito closed and place the burritos seam side down in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes at 375 degrees F / 190 degrees C.
  • Remove and serve with salsa or cheese dip.

Notes

  • Microwave the tortillas or heat them in a dry skillet to make them more pliable and easier to fold once they have been filled. 
  • For easy prep, combine all your favorite toppings in a large bowl.
  • Don’t overfill the tortilla or the burrito may fall apart and the filling may ooze out. 
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Arrange burritos with plenty of space between each burrito, so they brown evenly and get crispy all over. 
  • Add hot sauce to make your burrito spicy. 
  • Want a softer burrito? Wrap the burrito in aluminum foil before air frying for a soft tortilla. 
  • For an extra crispy, chimichanga-like burrito, spray it with cooking oil before air frying.
  • Storage - assemble, wrap and freeze uncooked burritos for up to 3 months.
