Ingredients

  • 16 ounces (453g) frozen Brussel sprouts whole
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Pour ¼ cup water into a medium to large microwave safe bowl.
  • Add the brussel sprouts and cover with plastic wrap. Leave a gap on one side so that the steam can escape.
  • Microwave for 4-8 minutes until they reach desired doneness, occasionally stirring during cooking.
  • Drain any excess water, season and serve immediately.

Notes

  • There is no need to thaw frozen brussels sprouts.
  • If your frozen brussels sprouts are covered with a thick layer of ice, you can run them under cold water for a few seconds.
  • When air frying or roasting brussel sprouts, keep the frozen brussel sprouts in a single layer so they cook through and the edges get crispy.
  • When microwaving or cooking frozen brussels sprouts in the instant pot, drain the excess water.
  • Use olive oil when making roasted frozen brussel sprouts in the oven or air fryer. To avoid overly crispy edges, add additional olive oil as needed.
  • Storage - keep refrigerated in an airtight container or bowl covered with plastic wrap up to 4 days.
  • There are 0 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
