Yorkshire Puddings with Aunt Bessie’s
Sometimes life gets a little crazy busy. You all know those too much to do – too little time days right?
On days like those I tend to not want to make much effort with food. But of course I still want to eat and feed the kiddoes something delicious. And so I have that little bit of space in the pantry and freezer that I save for convenient and good food.
So I was pretty excited to try out the Aunt Bessie’s range. They produce a lot of prepared frozen food items which can be conveniently cooked at home as part of a traditional family meal.
Anyway, inspired by their pretty funny video I tried quite few things from their range including these Yorkshire puddings.
They are pretty easy to make – it is as simple baking the pre made puddings in the oven for 20 mins. Yesterday I was too busy getting the children on their new bikes to cook from scratch but had still promised them chicken and the works. The Yorkshire puddings were light, crunchy and tasty with a big thumbs up from toddler chef and myself.
So it is certainly worth adding Aunt Bessie’s range to your freezer staples for those days when you are just too tired or busy to try and cook something from scratch. I definitely will.

I love Yorkshire pudding. This looks like the perfect recipe for it. Thanks for sharing!
Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings are delicious and perfect for busy days or when you’re multitasking a Sunday roast for 25 adults and 2 kids – it’s been saved me on many occasions
I always make my own as they ate so easy and then I freeze any that are left, but these do look good!
Well I can quite see why she was in a hurry to get to those Yorkshires 😉
Speeding on a mobility scooter too……
I have always said I have an aunt called Bessie!! Love it when she comes to visit and makes the yorkshires!!
🙂
I’m a big Aunt Bessie’s fan. Especially those Yorkshire puddings, fab!! GG
Their potatoes roast up really nicely too.
I love yorkshire puds, but they are really very easy to make – and left over batter makes great pancakes! I guess busy mums and all that?
There are days when you just need to pull something out of the freezer. I think these are really good for those days.
Video is hilarious! I’ve never tried yorkshire puddings before so I guess is time to change it 😉
OM Sylvia, you have to eat Yorkshire puddings. Seriously go get some now.
I have to say these do look very nice – I have not had a yorkshire in literally a year and this has given me a craving for one 🙂

Might be worth you popping over to the supermarket to get some of these.
I tried them for the first time this week too. They are so good.
Pleased to see that I am not the only one who likes them Helen.
I remember the first time I went to Yorkshire and had Sunday lunch at my boyfriends family. His aunt served Yorkie’s and I made some comment about how she’s made them so quickly. She laughed at me and pulled a bag of Aunt Bessie’s out the freezer. They were lovely 🙂
