Green Bean Casserole Recipe

This flavorful and comforting Green Bean Casserole Recipe is easy to make in less than 30 minutes. It’s the perfect side dish for any meal! 

INGREDIENTS

For the casserole: - Fresh green beans - Butter - Onion - Garlic clove - Sea salt - Panko breadcrumbs For the sauce: - Butter - Heavy cream - Cheddar cheese

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the beans and cook for about 6 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse under running cold water for a few minutes to halt the cooking.

Step 2

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until it begins to brown. Add the garlic and stir for 30 seconds or until fragrant. 

Step 3

Season with salt, add panko breadcrumbs, & stir. Remove & set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add heavy cream and the butter for the sauce. Heat on low until butter is melted. Add the cooked beans to the skillet.

Step 5

Stir gently before adding the cheddar cheese and parmesan. Stir over low heat until the cheese is melted. Check for seasoning and adjust as needed.
