Harissa Garlic Bacon Pasta Recipe

This Garlic Bacon Pasta recipe is incredibly simple and made with just 5 simple ingredients. Yes, this tasty 15 mins Bacon Garlic Pasta will be your new favorite weeknight supper, date night pasta and all round supper.

INGREDIENT

- Pasta - Unsmoked bacon - Olive oil - Spring onions - Garlic puree - Harissa paste - Pine nuts for topping - Soft cheese

Step 1

Cook pasta according to the packet instructions and set aside somewhere warm.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the bacon and fry for a few mins until done. Remove from the frying pan and set aside.

Step 3

Add another tsp of olive oil to the pan and the spring onion and cook for a 1 min. Stir in the garlic puree followed by the harissa past and cook for approx. 2 mins.

Step 4

Return the bacon to the pan followed by the pasta and stir till the pasta is well coated before switching off the heat. Serve the pasta in bowls topped with pine nuts and cheese.
