How To Toast Pecans

Learn how to toast pecans in oven, air fryer, or on the stovetop to get deliciously crunchy pecans perfect for cooking, baking, and any time snacking!

INGREDIENT

- 1 cup (125g) pecans

Step 1

Stove-top method: Add them to a skillet over medium heat and toast nuts for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently until slightly darkened with a nutty flavor and fragrant aroma.

Step 2

Air Fryer method: Toast them in a single layer in your air fryer at 320 degrees F / 160 degrees C for 6-8 minutes, to your taste. Add a few extra minutes if needed.

Step 3

Oven method: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C / gas mark 4, add pecan halves in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet, and roast nuts for 5-10 minutes, shaking them carefully.
