Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees F / 400 degrees C.
Stuff dates with goat cheese and pinch the ends slightly to close them.
Cut the bacon strips in half lengthwise and wrap half a bacon slice around each of the stuffed dates, then secure with a toothpick. Continue until all are done.
Place dates in the air fryer basket and air fry for 10 minutes, carefully turning over halfway through cook time.
If bacon is not crisp enough, then continue cooking for a couple of minutes.

Notes
These party appetizers can be served both hot or cold. So no need to worry about when the guests are arriving.
If dates are not pitted, cut a small slit in each date and remove the pit.
To drain any excess bacon fat, place cooked dates on a paper towel lined plate.
Choose the same-sized dates so they cook evenly at the same rate.
If you prefer, you can omit the tangy goat cheese from the sweet Medjool dates.
Make sure not to overstuff the dates, or you might end up with a messy air fryer.
Feel free to garnish this cooked appetizer with fresh herbs.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Arrange dates in a single layer with space between them on the air fryer tray.
Use cut-up wooden skewers if you don't have toothpicks.
This will work in both a basket-style air fryer and an oven-style air fryer.
Different air fryers operate slightly differently. Air fryer cooking times are a basic guideline, so it’s important to check your food for doneness and adjust as needed.
Storage - keep covered and refrigerated for 2-3 days.
