Oven Method:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C / gas mark 4.
  • Add pecan halves in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet
  • Roast for 5-10 minutes, shaking them carefully or turning them with a spatula halfway through so they roast evenly.

Air Fryer Method:

  • Preheat air fryer to 320 degrees F / 160 degrees C.
  • Toast pecans in a single layer in your air fryer basket or tray for 6-8 minutes, to your taste.

Stovetop Method:

  • Add pecans to a skillet over medium heat.
  • Toast for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently until slightly darkened with a nutty flavor and fragrant aroma.
