Orange and Cardamom Baked Salmon

A deliciously different orange and cardamom baked salmon recipe.

Ingredients

  • 500 g salmon
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 0.25 tsp orange zest
  • 0.25 tsp ground cardamom
  • 500 g salmon
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to fan-assisted 180C / 200c / 400F / gas 4.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the orange juice, maple syrup, orange zest and cardamom.
  • Put salmon skin side down in an oven tray and brush the orange and cardamom mixture over the salmon.
  • Bake the salmon for 10-15 mins.
  • Test the salmon with a thermometer for doneness - 50C for rare and 63C for well done.
