Notes
Experiment with different types of bread. So, use croissants instead of brioche rolls for this Crockpot French Toast recipe. Alternatively, cinnamon raisin bread, gluten-free bread, or whole wheat bread can add unique flavors and textures.
Moreover, to create a more decadent version, add a layer of cream cheese or a sprinkle of chocolate chips between the bread slices.
Add more maple syrup if you have a sweeter tooth.
So, good news, you can easily double the recipe. Just make sure your slow cooker is large enough to hold it all.
Cooking times may vary depending on the size, make, and model of your slow cooker. Make sure to consult your manual as necessary.
Storage - It can keep well for up to 3 days, and using single-serving containers or bags will make reheating super easy.
