How to Roast Red Cabbage
Easy roasted red cabbage recipe.
Cook Time 25 minutes minutes
- 500 g shredded red cabbage
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
Pre heat oven to fan assisted 160 C / 180C / 350F / gas 4.
Combine cabbage, olive oil and salt and roast in oven for between 15 to 25 mins until the cabbage is roasted.
Smaller cabbage shreds roast quicker and bigger shreds take longer.
Make sure to turn the cabbage at least once so that it cook evenly on all sides. This is because if cabbage burns it gets a little bit bitter.
If a few bits of shredded cabbage burns then just pick out and discard them.
