Instant Pot Iced Tea Tips and Notes
  • Start with 4 tea bags but if you prefer a stronger tea you can add up to 6 tea bags instead.
  • It is essential that you remove the tea bags after you have QPR as if you leave them to steep longer the tea could become bitter.
  • If using a calorie-free sweetener, adjust the amount to your desired sweetness. A sweetener like Swerve will measure the same as sugar, but a sweetener like stevia will require far less (start with 1 tsp stevia and increase if desired).
  • If you think you might not get the tea bags out quickly, then people recommend adding a pinch of baking soda to reduce any bitter flavour.
  • The strawberry juice is really thick and will separate and sit on top of the ice tea. You will have fun with two layers of drink.

Weight Watchers Points in Instant Pot Iced Tea
If you use a calorie-free sweetener, there are technically ZERO Freestyle and PointsPlus points per serving. However, you may want to count the Clementine and Strawberry Iced Tea as 1 point each because they do contain fruit juice (spread across 12 servings). Or, you can just count them as 0. It's your choice.
