Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.
Place frozen empanadas into the air fryer basket. You can brush with egg wash if you prefer.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.

Preheat the air fryer.
Do not thaw empanadas first.
Brushing with an egg wash will give these empanadas a flaky golden crust.
Large empanadas will take a bit longer to cook, while mini empanadas may cook faster.
Place the empanadas in a single layer, and don’t crowd the air fryer basket.
Line your air fryer basket with foil for easy clean-up.
Flipping the empanadas over during cooking is optional.
If you want to make a big batch, place the heated empanadas on a baking sheet in a low oven to keep warm while you cook the rest in the air fryer.
Storage - Store leftover cooked empanadas in an airtight container inside the fridge for 3 days. Keep frozen empanadas in the freezer for up to 3 months. Do not refreeze frozen empanadas once cooked.
