Notes
Find turkey wings with the other poultry in your local grocery store or check with your butcher.
Turkey wings are usually sold whole, so you will want to remove the wing tip and separate the flat and the drum.
Freeze the wing tips to use for making stock.
Pat dry with paper towels before adding the seasoning rub.
Leave space between the wings while cooking to allow the air to circulate.
If necessary, cook in batches.
For best results, preheat your air fryer.
Lightly spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent the turkey wings from sticking.
Always check for doneness with a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F / 74 degrees C when inserted into the thickest part of the turkey wings.
Once the air fryer turkey wings have reached temperature and are fully cooked, cook for five more minutes, if needed, to get super crispy skin.
Different air fryers operate slightly differently. Air fryer cooking times are estimated, so it’s essential to check your food for doneness and adjust the cooking time as needed.
Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container inside the fridge for up to 4 days.
