  • 8 ounces (225g) frozen onion rings

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400F / 200C.
  • Place the frozen onion rings in the air fryer basket, making sure to spread them out evenly. Cook in two batches if needed.
  • Cook for 7-10 minutes use tongs to toss them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Remove from air fryer and serve.

  • For the best results cook similar-sized onion rings at the same time so they cook up the same.
  • Bigger thicker onion rings will take more time than smaller ones.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket – the hot air needs to circulate around all sides of the onion rings so they cook evenly.
  • If your air fryer is small you may need to cook these in two batches.
  • No extra oil is needed for this recipe.
  • Use tongs to gently toss the onion rings during cooking for crispness. If you prefer you can use a spatula, but do it gently so they don't break.
  • If you want your onion rings to be a little bit crisper, you may need to cook for a few minutes more, just keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
Air fryer temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, checking for doneness, then adding more time as needed.
