Mango Matcha Smoothie
Introducing you all to my super healthy mango matcha smoothie that ticks so many boxes.
But before I bang on about this matcha tea smoothie, I must share my surprise about a friend of mine who does not like mangoes. Weird right? I mean. who does not like mangoes? They are just ripe, orange, juicy, melt in your mouth bundles of sweetness that scream stuff your face full of me like whenever.
Now that the colder months are around the corner, I will be needing my occasional pick me ups . And what better way than to put my super douper blender to work combining mangoes, almond milk and matcha in one super drink. Incase you are new to matcha it is a super concentrated ground green tea powder. It is extremely high in antioxidants and helps boost your energy levels. Ie it is the super hero amongst teas. Now if I was artistic, I would draw you an amazing figurine to go with that description. Not brave enough to try it though.
So this matcha mango smoothie is healthy, tastes good and works as a pick me up drink at anytime of the day. Me thinks you should try it.

That’s probably one of the cutest matcha tea packaging I’ve ever seen. But most importantly, this recipe sounds great!
You are right. Teapigs have got great packaging.
Sweet deliciousness! this smoothie looks amazing:) I wish I had mangoes on hand.
Thanks E. Kinda addictive mangoes for me. I find you can buy the pulp too if fresh mangoes are not readily available.
My husband, doesn’t like mangoes either – I don’t really get it, I think it may be a texture thing for him.
This smoothie, is totally up my alley — sounds great!
Oh man! This looks great!! I love matcha and have not thought of trying it with mangoes. Must!!
😀
I used not to like mangoes. Having first tried one at school which a friend brought back from India. It was the most amazing sweet wonderful taste I’d ever experienced. Nothing lived up to that. Now I eat mangoes and enjoy them, but that first taste will never be forgotten. I must try Matcha. I’m a big fan of tea pigs, I bet their Matcha is great. GG
You know what, I completely understand about that first taste of mangos. I was lucky and grew up surrounded by mangos and I know good mangoes. I have found a few places in London where to go when you want good mangoes. Yeap Teapigs have a good thing going with their matcha.
Mmm, this seems like a great way to wind down summer!
Exactly Jess.
Gorgeous sounding and looking smoothie Bintu, I too am incredulous anyone can possibly not love a mango!
Exactly. I wanted to force feed her mangoes till she changed her mind.

Perfect antidote to everything me thinks. Well that is what I tell myself anyway.
ooo I’m doing a shake diet at the moment but may throw this in for a twist xx
Thing is, you can throw this match powder into a lot of things not just shakes.
Oh, that sounds so gooooood. If only I could drink some of that delicious concoction. But, as age sets in, I have to cut down on food, especially as I can’t exercise enough to burn it off.
You could try it in your teas or whatever drink you like Francene.
