Why You’ll Love It
- This delicious punch is budget-friendly and easy to make,
- It can be made well in advance, which means less work for you when the guests arrive.
- It can easily be doubled or tripled when entertaining a crowd.
- Great for your next Christmas party, Family brunches, children’s tea parties, Grinch movie nights, and impromptu get-togethers.
Ingredient Notes
- Pineapple juice – or use orange juice instead, Make sure the fruit juice that you use is smooth and does not have bits in it.
- Sprite – or you can use lemon lime soda or lemonade.
- Lemonade concentrate – use your favorite brand.
- Kool Aid – You need kool aid that is green color. I used liquid Kool-aid, but you can easily used the crystal kind – some flavors are lemon lime kool aid. Just make sure to follow the instructions on the packet for proportions of kool aid and water.
- Tap water – to help dilute the green kool-aid.

Recipe Variations
This punch is super versatile! Try some of these easy variations;
- Reduce the fizz – You can add less fizz to the grinch drink by replacing some of the carbonated soda with juice.
- Vary the fizz – Feel free to use sparkling water, ginger ale, or another type of clear soda instead of sprite.
- Use a different green – Lime sherbet or Hawaiian punch is a great choice too. I know people who just prefer to use green food coloring too.
- Add in fun ice cubes – serve with candy cane, snowflake, santa, strawberry hearts, star etc shaped ice cubes.
- For other holidays – use black sanding sugar to make this a halloween witches brew, or use orange Kool-aid instead.
Storing
Prep Ahead – This is a great recipe for prepping ahead. Combine all the ingredients (except the sprite) and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Add in the sprite just before serving.
FAQs
