- Preheat the oven to fan assisted 440F / 180C / 200C / gas 6.
- Lightly spray a sheet pan with low-calorie cooking spray.
- Spread the tortilla chips on the baking sheet so they form an even flat layer.
- Top the chips with flaked salmon, salsa, tomatoes, sweet corn, black beans, jalapeños and cheese.
- Bake for 7-8 mins, or until the cheese is nice and bubbly.
- Remove the nachos from the oven and finish with chopped coriander, sour cream, spring onions and black pepper.
Tips For Making Salmon Black Bean Nachos
- Spread the tortilla chips out in a single layer to ensure each each one is coated with delicious toppings.
- For those who like some heat, you can make these into spicy black bean nachos by adding ground cayenne or chipotle pepper.
- For a different flavour profile, feel free to change up the ingredients. Try using shredded Monterey Jack cheese, or top with pico de gallo or mango salsa.
- Don’t forget to serve your nachos with a side of guacamole. Yum!
How Long To Bake Black Bean Nachos with Salmon?
I find that baking in the oven for 7 – 8 minutes gives me nachos that are cooked through with perfectly melted and bubbly cheese.
However oven temperatures can vary, so you will want to keep a close eye on your salmon black bean nachos to avoid overcooking and burning.

Nachos:
- 8 oz (225g) cooked and ready to eat salmon flakes
- 10 0z (300g ) tortilla chips
- 3 tbsp tomato salsa
- 10 cherry tomatoes halved
- 14 oz (400) black beans drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup (64g) sweet corn drained and rinsed
- 1.5 cups (190g) cheddar and mozzarella cheese shredded
Toppings:
- coriander (cilantro), chopped
- sour cream
- green onions (green onions), sliced
- black pepper to taste
