Grilled Almond Butter Honey Banana Sandwich

Shelve whatever plans you had.
Grab your kids. Or, I am sure your neighbours would be happy to lend you theirs. Kids are not necessary for this sandwich, but just go with the flow.
Get all hands on deck as you pile on those flavours on your lovely bread. Liberal amounts of almond butter, followed by tiny lashings of honey all topped up with a gazillion slices of banana.
Heck, pile on more almond butter if you like.
Now grill that piece of ‘almost there but not quite yet’ perfection.
And then you get perfection. AKA the grilled almond butter honey banana sandwich.
They will love you for ever and ever and ever. And ever.

I’ve long been a fan of peanut butter and banana sandwiches, so I imagine that almond butter would also be super good.
Yeap, it is – I aim to use it a lot more.
Ooh I want one, right now. I can smell it! GG
I am suddenly craving one too.
Love this so much, Bintu!. And while the almond butter is no doubt the healthier choice, I could definitely see doing this with peanut butter too. I’m so craving this now 🙂
If you try it with peanut butter then please let me know how it tastes.
Not for me, but that’s because I avoid bread not because I don’t like the sound of the flavour combo!
Fiona, maybe you can gust have it without the bread. Hmmmmm that’s an idea…..
So simple and so delicious. Haven’t had almond butter for a long time. Cashew is my favourite, but haven’t had that for a long time either.
Would love to try cashew butter.
My mouth is salivating. This sandwich looks delicious. Have never tried almond butter before but I am sure it is worth trying. I have banana and lovely bouile bread just missing the butter. Fab picture.
It is really nice. Much prefer it to peanut butter.
Simple yet delicious. Perfect brunch recipe.
That was the plan Nanya
