How to Make Pancakes
It is almost pancake day so time for this pancake lover to update an old post on how to make pancakes.
Oh yeah. Plus I get to show off and use my lovely set of kitchen goodies from the Andrew James team.
You get why I need to do this right? I am talking super cool stainless steel measuring cups, spoons, chocolate shaker and mixing bowl set. I am all grown up in kitchen utensils land. Head over to their website to see their lovely and huge range of kitchen products.
So here is my easy to follow pancake recipe adapted from Jaime Oliver. It consists entirely of pantry staples and is very easy to adapt with various spices, fruits, ingredients and toppings. Sky is the limit.

There’s nothing like a stack of pancakes to make the world a better place 🙂 Love the look and sound of these, Bintu, and I could follow-up that banana sandwich with a stack of these 🙂

Great stuff Bintu, pancakes looks superb! I too have my staple recipe for basic pancakes it’s time to dig it out and make some myself!
One can never eat too many pancakes.
Those are what I’d call american pancakes – I tend to make the thin sort – sometimes called crepes, but actually smaller than a french crepe
Yeap, American pancakes a re a favourite in my kitchen. So I make them a lot.
Thanks Tammy, Andrew James makes such lovley looking kitchen stuff.
These look so yummy! I love pancakes and like to have them for weekend breakfasts. One of my favorite breakfast foods! Your new kitchen goodies are fabulous! I love all the stainless steel tools 🙂

I really do think you are the Queen of Pancakes, Bintu. Yours always look delicious, and these are no exception!
Awww, thanks V. I am blushing…
Love the new stainless steel utensils. Perfect for measuring and weighing out all those ingredients for your delicious pancakes. Although I bet you can do it by eye by now. I have to try those coconut and cardamom ones. GG
They are so nice. My kitchen does look much nicer with these Andrew James utensils in it.
I love pancakes but have never consider eating them with pumpkins. It sounds delicious though! I have Andrew James’ pestle and mortar and bought one for my mum too. Very solid and is perfect for making pestos or crushing spices into a powder. Especially our beloved cardamom pods 😉
Oh wow, gonna go check out their pestle and mortar.
