Recipes Tips
- Add more condensed milk for a creamier, sweeter coffee.

Variations
- Coconut Iced Coffee : Use condensed coconut milk instead of regular condensed milk if you prefer.
- Add in your favorite syrups, grated spices, and sweeteners. Some of my choices are; hazelnut syrup, pumpkin pie spiced syrup, caramel syrup, and French vanilla syrup.

FAQs
What Type Of Coffee To Use For Vietnamese Coffee?
Typically you would use dark roast coffee beans. Common coffee brands used to make Iced Coffee in Vietnamese cafes and restaurants are Cafe Du Monde and Trung Nguyen.
But, feel free to use your favorite coffee brand.
Straining Your Coffee Concentrate
Coffee grains will settle at bottom of the Instant Pot, so don’t shake the insert at the end. Just carefully pour out the iced coffee concentrate and the majority of the grains will remain at the bottom of the insert. But f you prefer to strain, then try the following options:
- Coffee filter – simply pour through a coffee filter that is placed in a funnel. This might take a while due to the size of the coffee filters.
- French Press – just add it in the French press and press down the plunger. Then pour out the iced coffee concentrate.
- Cheesecloth – You could pour it out over a cheesecloth or muslin over a larger sieve which will work out much faster.
- Cheesecloth bag in the Instant Pot – I have seen discussions where folks put the ground coffee in a cheesecloth bag inside the Instant Pot, rather than directly in the insert. I have not tried it myself, but this will be much quicker as no draining needed. Please do let me know if you try it.
Storing Your Instant Pot Vietnamese Coffee Concentrate
- Your Iced Coffee Concentrate can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a week.
- You can also make Coffee Ice Cubes. Use silicone Ice Cube Trays so that you can easily pop out your ice cubes when needed. Make a batch, pop out into a freezer bag, and make the next batch.
