This tart yet sweet lemonade recipe takes everything you love about the classic drink from every childhood lemonade stand and gives it a little extra oomph, thanks to the addition of ripe and juicy peaches.
A great thing about this homemade Peach lemonade recipe is that it comes together with a few minutes of effort and only 4 everyday ingredients. But it can be customized in aaaaaaaall sorts of ways to suit various occasions. Serve as classic plain lemonade, as an iced lemonade tea or as sparkling lemonade.

Plus, if you need to spice up this up when the grown-ups come out to play, then you can easily serve up big pitchers of this spiked with some bourbon (my fave) vodka or gin. #boozylemonade

- A saucepan.
- A sieve.
- A sharp knife.
- A cutting board.
- A sieve.
- Mason jars for storing.

How To Make Peach Lemonade
- 3 cups sugar
- 7-8 cups water, divided
- 6-8 whole red skinned peaches
- 1 cup freshly squeezed and strained lemon juice
Make Peach Simple Syrup
- Mix together the sugar and 3 cups of water in a saucepan and add in the whole peaches.
- Place the saucepan over a medium flame and stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
- Switch off the heat and allow the syrup cool with the peaches in it.
- Strain and decant into a container and keep the peach simple syrup in the fridge until required.
Make The Lemonade
- In a large pitcher, combine 1 1/4 cups peach simple syrup, 1 cup fresh lemon juice and 4-5 cups of water.
- Chill in a refrigerator till needed.
- Add ice to some glasses or mason jars and top with peach lemonade and any garnishes.

Homemade Peach Lemonade Tips
- For the best color use the reddest skin peaches.
- Feel free to use a mixture of orange flesh peaches and white peaches.
- Don’t discard the peaches – save them and eat them for breakfast (great with yogurt or pancakes) or dessert.
- Use fresh lemon juice – the best results come from freshly-squeezed lemon juice. Juice that has been pre squeezed is not as good.
- Pulp or no pulp. Up to you, strain the lemon pulp out or leave it in if you like your lemonade with bits.
- Add water as needed – if serving with lots and lots of ice then make the lemonade a little sweeter. If serving with no ice then make the lemonade less sweet.

Recipe Variations
This homemade lemonade is immensely adaptable. There are virtually limitless ways you can adapt and vary the flavors to suit your tastes and mood. Swap or add in
- Add berries – add berries like strawberry, raspberries, or blueberries along with the peaches when making the syrup.
- Make a sparkling peach lemonade – add soda water instead of tap water to make a sparkling lemonade for a fun twist.
- Add herbs – cook up the peach syrup with some mint or basil for a herb lemonade.
- Add spices – add in vanilla, cloves, allspice, and ginger into the syrup as you are cooking it.

Prep Ahead And Storage
Store the peach syrup – Store the peach syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Store the lemonade – Store the lemonade in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Do make sure to have removes of fruits or garnishes when storing and add these back in just before serving.

Can I Make This A Peach Lemonade Cocktail?
Absolutely! Simply whip up a pitcher of peach lemonade and add in some alcohol. Aim to add about 1 cup of bourbon (my fave), vodka, gin, or tequila to about 5-6 cups of lemonade depending on your taste.
Can I Make Lemonade Ice Cubes
Yes, this is a fantastic idea. Freeze the lemonade in ice cube trays and use later for for chilling your lemonade, or adding flavor and color to water or other drinks.
